Great places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I have just returned from a 10 day break in Marmaris, Turkey and had an absolutely fantastic time whilst over there to say the least. The reason for writing this article was to let you know great places to have something to eat in Marmaris. I stayed at the Club Meridyen Apartments and the food there was just all right, but not the best I had tried by far. What I never liked about the hotel was if you never ate there then they never wanted to know you but that's besides the point. Breakfast in the Meridyen was pretty good but was more over priced than some places. Suppose it is what you pay for sometimes. However the Dinners I ate there weren't to my liking, so if your looking for a nice meal for dinner I would go somewhere else.

Across the road you have Sarah's Restaurant which done an amazing steak for a great price. I personally had the Mexican style steak which I would say is the best ever steak that I have eaten. The plate they give you was completely full to the brim. I love my food and honestly, I was unable to eat all of it there was that much. The breakfast in Sarah's is quite nice too and at a good price.

The best Food In Turkey Here

Further down the street heading in the direction of the beach there was this little restaurant called Cousins that sold really good food and they had a little monkey called Paris which actually enticed us to go in. We went in one night after being out and having a few drinks just because the monkey was outside and the little rascal managed to steal my packet of cigarettes. The great thing about cousins was the buy one get one free drinks that they offered, sat in there all night sometimes after having a meal.

We managed to find another little place in Marmaris called Always. This place was great for the food and they done an amazing Sunday dinner and Scottish Breakfast. The entertainment in this bar was very good and it was second to none. They danced as most of the Bars do but they held the Jeremy Kyle Show where they pull people from the restaurant and make up stories about them. It was great fun. They got some robot into dance too but I kind of lost interest after 15 mins. Great food and good entertainment, ideal for a large family.

The best food I tried over here was the Indian food that we went for. The place we went was called the Taj Mahal. We got a 2 course Indian meal with a drink and it was absolutely superb. Great value for money. I am just a bit gutted that I left it until the last night to eat there or I would have been there every single night, no joke. I ate quite a bit in this restaurant and was full up although I left wanting more. There is also a little Chinese above the Taj Mahal which I think is actually run by the same people as the menu is set out the same way and the set meals are kind of similar. The Indian grub for me though was second to none.

Is definately the place I will be heading to first when I am there next year, roll on Marmaris 2013, can not wait!
